So I wasn’t tagged in this, but I saw this Potter post over on The Orangutan Librarian and I just had to write in my own answers!
Am I a pureblood, half-blood, or muggle born?
Most likely half blood. I feel like there’s definitely some sort of crazy magic in our family. Especially on the dark side!
Which wand chose me?
This golden-toned wood produces wands of splendid magical powers, which give of their best in the hands of the warm-hearted, the generous and the wise. Possessors of pear wands are, in my experience, usually popular and well-respected. I do not know of a single instance where a pear wand has been discovered in the possession of a Dark witch or wizard. Pear wands are among the most resilient, and I have often observed that they may still present a remarkable appearance of newness, even after many years of hard use.
I feel like that suits me pretty well, at least the warm-hearted part anyway…
Did I take an owl, cat, rat, or toad with me?
I really really want to say owl, but I know if it came down to it I’d have a kitty in my lap!
Where did the Sorting Hat put me?
What house did I want to be in?
Gryffindor – I’d already brought the Gryffindor scarf from The World of Harry Potter in London. However, I’m a very proud Hufflepuff, I feel that this suits my personality the best.
What lessons are my favorite and least favorite?
Favourites would definitely be:
▪️Transfiguration – who doesn’t want to turn into an animal (hello! Minerva kicks butt!)
▪️Care of Magical Creatures – because I’m obsessed with all animals, fur, scales, tentacles? Just let me at them!
▪️Herbology – Magical plants are basically pets and I do love a bit of gardening<br
e Studies (seriously?)
▪️Arithmancy – I can't do maths to save my life
ng>The form my patronus takes: Hummingbird – I was originally pretty pissed I got this. I wanted something that felt more like me, but after a bit of online research I found that people with this patronus are usually cheerful and bouncy. They take themselves lightly and enjoy making people laugh. They are also innocent and can be easily influenced by others. Their happy exterior sometimes hides their sensitive side.
Apparently the hummingbird patronus is most common in true Hufflepuffs too!
What does a boggart look like for me? Probably very similar to Molly Weasley’s boggart. I hold my family very close. Other than that a flappy horrible giant moth.
ng>Do I partake in any magical hobbies or school sports? I’d love to say I’d be part of the quidditch team because I was always good at basketball (same thing right?)
Otherwise it would be some sort of animal club, maybe looking after thestrals?
Where would I find myself hanging in my free time? Ok, so there’s way too many places I’d be hanging out in at Hogwarts! The library would be one of them – of course. The Hogwarts Greenhouses, The Owlry (I have pen pals but I’d probably just go for a good old pet with Hedwig) and probably the Hufflepuff Common Room – look how cute it is!
A sloping, earthy passage inside the barrel travels upwards a little way until a cosy, round, low-ceilinged room is revealed, reminiscent of a badger’s set. The room is decorated in the cheerful, bee-like colours of yellow and black, emphasised by the use of highly polished, honey-coloured wood for the tables and the round doors which lead to the boys’ and girls’ dormitories (furnished with comfortable wooden bedsteads, all covered in patchwork quilts).
A colourful profusion of plants and flowers seem to relish the atmosphere of the Hufflepuff common room: various cactii stand on wooden circular shelves (curved to fit the walls), many of them waving and dancing at passers-by, while copper-bottomed plant holders dangling amid the ceiling cause tendrils of ferns and ivies to brush your hair as you pass under them.
Plus it’s next to the kitchens – midnight feasts!
What career do I want after leaving Hogwarts? Dragonologist! Would love to follow Charles Weasley about with his dragons!
Argh! This was so fun! ♡ ⚯͛△⃒⃘
