Any makeup addict knows that today Rihanna’s highly-anticipated beauty line has officially been realised in the U.K. having been announced in 2016, when the singer signed a deal with LVMH’s Kendo division – who also produces Marc Jacobs Beauty. I’ve been waiting for this for what seems like forever and after hearing it was going to be realeased this month, I had to make sure I got in on it.
The Fenty Beauty collection is exclusively available at Harvey Nichols, and is already a huge hit amongst the singer’s loyal fan base and beauty addicts – including myself of course.
I love that the Fenty Beauty line targets women of all different skin tones. They have developed 40 different hues of foundation and more than 20 correcting “match stix” concealers.
“Women everywhere would be included”
Its great to see such a great selection of shades for darker and lighter tones that aren’t often used in other makeup brands. I’ve ordered the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in shade: Medium 200, after matching MAC’s NC15 photo from their website (my shade in my usual foundation).
Fenty Beauty foundation shade: Medium 200
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation shade: NC15
I have no clue if this will be the correct shade for my skin tone to be honest, however I’m not too fussed if it is a little dark as NC15 is a little light for me at the moment.
I’m super excited to receive this product and can’t wait to show you guys properly! I also LOVE the duo highlighters, especially the one shown above with ‘Ginger Binge’ and ‘Moscow Mule’.
Has anyone tried anything from this collection yet?
