Ok so recently I’ve been well into my online shopping, yano those nights when you get a little bored and end up ‘browsing’ a few things. All of a sudden browsing becomes adding to basket and then its holy shit my bank balance is practically in the minus…
Well this is me recently anyway. I’ve been on top of my game Christmas shopping and got a little carried away. As well as ‘oooh I know who would like that… meeeeee’.
So as I’ve given the gift of early Christmas gifts to myself, I thought I’d share my purchases with you lovely readers.
I’ve been looking for so long for an ochre/mustard coloured jumper, almost every autumn actually. I can just never seem to find the right one or one that doesn’t itch or one in my damn size. However, that was in the past as now I have found my perfect autumnal jumper.
I found this oversized funnel neck jumper from Topshop at £39.00. It is available in the wonderful ochre colour, white and grey but I felt that the colour I went for was more me.
I’m very into warmer shades recently compared to my usual black white and grey tones, although the grey is really calling my name too…
It’s super comfy and not itchy at all on my sensitive skin. I often wear this with black skinny jeans, black chelsea boots and black jacket. The bright colour against the black makes it stand out lovely but not in a garish way. Find it HERE.
My next two purchases are from Joules, I love this country style brand and the quality of each product. Everything is really well made and built to last. I was originally looking for a long sleeved striped top and came across this one. I love it! It’s fairly thick material, not see through and is really comfy to wear.
It has very quickly become a staple in my wardrobe, as all black and white striped tops, they never go out of fashion and are so easy to dress up or down. Unfortunately, even though I only purchased this new in product last week, it is no longer on the website.
I also brought this super cute, classic fit, stag print shirt. OH MY GOSH. I love stags and the whole country look anyway so as soon as I saw this, it was straight in my basket. Its such a nice, flattering fit and isn’t too thick so it is comfortable and non-restricting.
The price is a little steep to be honest at £49.95, however it is a good quality shirt and i’m in love so i’m not stressing too much over the price, although I haven’t actually worn it yet! They also do the same shirt in a super cute multicoloured fox print that I’m keeping my eye on. Love it too? – Find it here.
My last gift from me to me is this wonderful ivory lace blouse from Fatface. I got this as I have one similar from here and I wear it constantly. I love a button front and the lace detailing on this is great to dress up.
Personally I wear this with a bright chunky cardigan and black jeans. Its a really nice, soft blouse that goes with pretty much any look. The three quarter length sleeves are great too for this strange season transition where its cold in the morning and hot by midday. I’m really impressed with the quality and the loose fit always makes me more inclined to buy something as it means no belly rolls show when I sit down. Find it here. Also, I’d like to point out that this looks 100% better in person than online!
So that’s it for my little gifts for myself. What do you think?
