In today’s post, I thought I’d share with you my Top 10 Christmas films. I find that sitting down to watch a Christmas movie is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit! Can’t beat cuddling up to watch a film with a blanket and snacks at Christmas time, maybe a hot choccie too!
To be honest, it was so hard to narrow it down to just ten as there are so many amazing (and cheesy) films out there and so many on TV at this time of year too. In no particular order, my top 10 are…
The Holiday – my all time favourite! Rom-com and Christmas together! (Plus a little bit of the lovely Jude Law).
How The Grinch Stole Christmas – “hate hate hate hate LOATH” (definitely see myself in Mr Grinch!).
Home Alone – Especially the ones with Macaulay Culkin, his craftiness and cheeky face reminds me so much of my little brother.
Elf – “The best way to spend Christmas cheer, is singing loudly for all to hear”.
Love Actually – How could you not love this?
It’s a Wonderful Life – It was always a tradition to watch this when I lived with my mumma.
The Nightmare Before Christmas – I love that it’s Christmas and Halloween into one, Jacks facial expressions make me giggle!
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – I genuinely feel sorry for Mr Griswold, such a funny film though.
Nativity 1 and 2 – Christmas chaos! I love Mr Poppy and the kids are so full of character.
Deck the Halls – Ferris Bueller is in it, what’s not to like?
I could literally sit and watch these films back to back. What are your favourites?
