HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope everyone had an amazing New Years Eve, whether you were out and about or had a chilled one at home!
I have never really set myself proper New Years resolutions before, apart from last years “to be happy”, which I completed by the way!
This year, I’ve decided that I am going to try this resolution malarkey properly. I have had an absolutely amazing 2017 on the whole, I hope that 2018 will be an even better year!
Myles and I have some big plans this year, in order to go through with them, we both need to save save save!
This was my resolution for 2017! I did everything I could to be happy, including cutting out bad people and not caring what others think of me. Sometimes you gotta think about YOU! So for 2018, my goal is to continue this happiness.
Eat Less Sugar
Sugar is the devil and let me tell you – I’m addicted. I’d much rather have chocolate than a proper meal and that’s not good!
Tastes amazing though. In order to be healthier, I want to cut down my sugar consumption as it can have awful affects on the body long term.
I don’t smoke that much anymore, maybe the odd one when work gets stressful or out and about with a few social drinks. I will no longer be smoking any cigarettes from now on, even if it’s “just the one”. Myles is also going for gold with this one too!
They say that stress is one of the biggest killers out there, and it can have a very destructive effect on your relationships as well as your health. I know this will be extremely difficult for me as I am a bit of a stress head, never the less, that won’t stop me from trying!
Organise Our Home
Since moving in together, Myles and I have a hefty amount of
shit stuff… that we really do not need. I especially have a lot of clothes that I’ve not worn in over a year. I really need to organise our space better to get full potential of our storage areas! Which then leads me to my next resolution…
Sell Unwanted Items
I have an eBay account, I’ve sold no end of unwanted clothes and items in the past. I actually have a box full of designer clothes with the tags still on them ready to sell! Organising our stuff will allow us to make a bit of money to go towards paying off our holiday in September, plus we could buy new bits and bobs for the house if we need them.
That’s seven resolutions I have made! At least making more than one means I’m more likely to hit my goals!
What are your New Years Resolutions? Did you make any?
Happy New Year All! Thank you all for reading my blog, let’s hope 2018 is a fab one!
