Like most women that are into their makeup, I am a huge lover of winged eyeliner, it’s not often that I’ll do any makeup look without those classic cat eyes. I have tried many eyeliners in the past, but always gone back to pen-style liners, as they make application super easy and I find it much easier to control. Kat Von D’s Tattoo liner is my absolute fave! I have had this in my collection for a few years now and always had to go back and repurchase it.
The brush tip is almost like a calligraphy pen, it glides across your lids so smooth and precise – even a beginner could work a killer cat eye with this. It’s super highly pigmented and promises a 24-hour wear formula as it is waterproof and transfer-resistant, which I can vouch for!
I have never used such a long lasting eyeliner, it doesn’t crack or smudge, just stays perfect until you wash it away. In fact, it’s almost like using a Sharpie on your lids, I know that sounds wrong, but once you try this, I can promise you wont be going back! I can get perfect, even, matching flicks EVERY time with this, something I have always struggled to do before buying KVD Tattoo Liner.
It has also won numerous awards, including the 2017 Best Beauty by Stylist Award for best liquid eyeliner and the Allure Readers Choice 2017 Award. Who doesn’t want an award winning liner? I got my first pen in the US, from Sephora for $20, however here in the U.K. it is available in Debenhams for just £16, available in two colours: Trooper Black or Mad Max Brown.
It has honestly upped my eye makeup game for sure. I can’t get over the incredible staying power, the amazing inky pigment and needle-fine, non-fraying brush tip, I don’t think I’ll ever be buying any other brand. It’s my go to liner, so simple and quick to use, stays on all day and is 100% cruelty and paraben-free!
Overall, I can fully confirm that this eyeliner is soooo worth the hype! It has been a firm staple in my collection for a few years now and I have no idea how I managed winged liner every day without it! I love KVD makeup and can’t wait to try this liner out in the Mad Max brown shade too!
Have you tried this eyeliner before? What do you think?
See you in the next post!
