As some of you may know, on Saturday it was my 24th birthday, so I wanted to show you guys what I received! I absolutely love reading these type of posts, I’m always looking out for things to buy friends and family and I always find these haul posts extremely helpful as they give me so much inspiration. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, brought cards, gifts and flowers, I really appreciate it and love everything! Let me crack on with it then…
Hair & Beauty Gifts
- Two Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
I have been dying to get my hands on this Two Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette for absolutely ages! The colours are stunning and I can’t wait to use this all the time, I already use the Two Faced Chocolate Bons Bons Palette every day and the pigment is awesome, I know this will be just as good, if not better. Can we just point out that it smells like peaches too?! MY FAVE!
- The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops
I brought this no too long ago from The Body Shop, they’re so cool, something I had never heard of before and they really do work. I actually wrote a full review on them here.

- KMS Therma Shape 2-in-1 Spray
I don’t think I’ve ever tried these products before, other than the KMS Humidity Spray! My auntie and uncle are both hairdressers and have an abundance of good quality, high end hair care products. I can’t wait to try everything on this list as I love switching up my hair care routine. I have tried a different Goldwell shampoo before and loved the smell, this one smells even better!

- Hogwarts Logo Nightshirt
- Honeydukes 3 Pack Ankle Socks
- 3 Pack HP Design Socks

- Slytherin Candle
I am a huge Harry Potter fan, shout out to all you fellow Hufflepuffs! My friends and family all know how obsessed I am, even my mother in law went all out on HP gear for me! I love that Primark sell so many different items and bring out new products to the range too, my fave is definitely the Honeydukes Chocolate Frog socks and the Slytherin Candle – I’m still keeping my eye out for the Hufflepuff candle!
Candles & Accessories
- Woodwick Trilogy Candle
Candles are my favourite things ever! I find them so calming and relaxing, what is nicer than snuggling up with a good book or movie in a candle lit room? I have wanted this particular Woodwick Trilogy Scented candle for ages, it smells just like coffee! It is made up of Vanilla Bean, Caramel and Biscotti. Mmmmmm!
- Slytherin Primark Candle
This Slytherin candle as shown above is great to add to my HP collection and smells of Rose Gardenia and Musk, I love the lid topper too!
- Yankee Candle Calm & Quiet Place Candle
- Yankee Candle White Hearts Shade and Tray Set
Calm and Quiet Place smells stunning, oh my gosh, it’s such a relaxing scent. A meditative fragrance that is balanced and centered with gentle jasmine, patchouli and warm amber musk. I love the blue-grey colour too – also very calming! The shabby chic style, white heart shade and tray set makes it look soooo cute, I love how the candle light shines little hearts on the walls when it’s lit too.
Food & Drink Gifts
- Carluccio’s Hazelnut Capuccino Truffles
Oh. My. God. These are amazing, I love the packaging and have been trying soooo hard not to scoff all of these at once!
- Thorntons Nut & Praline mini bag
- Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin
One of the nicest gins I have tried in a while, it is absolutely gorgeous, especially with lime, ice and slimline tonic in my giant glass!
- Giant Gin Bowl Glass
- LED Alphabet String Lights
These look super cute! You can write whatever you want in the fairy lights, I’m just trying to figure out what to put up!
- Sophie Kinsella – My Not So Perfect Life book
I’m always looking for new books to read, I’ve never heard of Sophie Kinsella before but this book looks pretty cool. It’s got some pretty good reviews and I’m intrigued to find out what is not so perfect about Katie Brenner’s life. Has anyone read this before?
- Cath Kidston Foldaway Shopping Bag
- Yankee Candle Vanilla Car Scent
- Jack Wills Grey Hoodie
This hoodie is sooooo comfy, I asked my mum for this after I brought Myles one very similar last month for his birthday – he wouldn’t let me steal his so I figured I should get my own. I asked for the size bigger as I prefer my hoodies less fitted and my shoulders are pretty square so I wanted to make sure it was comfy – I can confirm that it really is!
- Joules Striped Jumper
I mentioned this gorgeous jumper from Joules in my recent Clothing Wishlist post. It’s so soft and obviously very well made, I love the colours and stripes are 100% my fave at the moment too! Thanks Nona! The beautiful tulips were also a gift from my auntie, uncle and cousins, Millie and Primrose.
From My Lovely Boyfriend, Myles
My lovely man brought me the Tiffany & Co bracelet that I have been dying to buy myself since before Christmas! I love dainty, delicate style jewellery rather than the chunky pieces, this bracelet is so perfect! It matches the Tiffany necklace Myles brought me at Christmas and is a lovely sentimental keepsake that I will cherish forever.
Myles also took me to Bakewell for the day, it is such a sweet little town with amazing scenery. We had fish and chips and of course – a bakewell tart each, had to be done! Myles also took me to the love lock bridge there, as earlier in the morning he had surprised me with a padlock engraved with our names and date we started seeing each other on – so adorable! We locked on our padlock and threw the keys into the river, looks like we’re in this for the long run hun! ♡
He has also booked us in for a meal at Turpins Bar & Grill in Twycross, he’s known that I’ve wanted to eat there for ages and I’ve got to say, it didn’t disappoint! The food was incredible! I had tempura seabass with sweet chilli veggies and honeycomb cheesecake for pudding, Myles ate pan fried duck, beef dripping chips and banoffee pie topped with whipped cream. The whole night was lovely, it was just so nice to go out dressed up a little and enjoy each others company, chat away and eat good food. I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re ever in the area.
I am aware that this post is super long, so I will finish it off by saying a massive thank you to everyone for making my birthday special, especially to Myles who always goes above and beyond to spoil me!
Have you guys got any of these things already? Are any of them going on your birthday wishlist? Let me know in the comments below!
Until next time,
Love Charlie x
