Recently I have been trying to cut my spending down to a minimum in order to save my money for future investments. One area that has to be my biggest expenditure is beauty and more specifically, make up.
Not too long back, I heard all about Makeup Revolution London and the amazing concealer that every major beauty blogger has been raving about – Conceal and Define. At just £4, it’s a steal, and a whopping £17 cheaper than my current MAC concealer.
It has an amazing creamy consistency and is being hailed as a dupe to the infamous Tarte Shape Tape – a concealer I have wanted to try for ages!
As well as the wonderful velvety texture, it felt lightweight, comfortable and has surprisingly full coverage. I was even able to hide my great big black eye bags and a pesky little pimple all day long! No wonder all my local Superdrug stores were sold out completely.
The Conceal and Define concealer also comes in 18 amazing shades (with more on the way) and the option to shop for a couple of shades darker than your skin tone to use for contouring. The formula is thick enough to blend with your foundation perfectly whether hiding spots or creating depth. I purchased the lightest of the colours for my pale skin, shade C1 – for light skin tones with neutral undertones. Once it is restocked in store, I can’t guarantee that I’ll hold back on spending £4 for my contour shade too.
The product is so easy to use, just glide the over-sized doe foot applicator onto your skin and blend in with a brush or sponge. As well as full coverage, it promises a matte finish that won’t settle into fine lines, it’s easy to see where the Shape Tape dupe comparisons have come from – it really does work wonders!
I can honestly say, I am hooked. A definite repurchase in the future and an absolute bargain! For anyone looking for a cheaper alternative for their concealer – look no further!
Have you tried this one out yet? What do you think?
